The opportunity
Turn a milestone birthday into a campaign-night world.
35th Presidential Party celebrated Spencer Foster's 35th birthday with a playful premise drawn directly from the invitation: turning 35 meant finally being old enough to run for president. The private, invitation-only party at The Rosemary Room invited guests to dress as presidents, first ladies, or their own interpretation of political glamour while introducing more people to the newly opened venue.
FP Presents owned the event from concept through show-night operation. A custom campaign identity, fabricated podium with an integrated powered speaker and wireless microphones, staged costume displays, lighting, audio, themed bar details, guest flow, security, campaign-button favors, a message station, and a photo experience created a room guests could explore from every angle. Every installation remained temporary so the venue could return without permanent marks after Sunday strike.

Production approach
A personal idea, built into every guest touchpoint.
Across a three-month planning, design, and fabrication timeline, FP Presents built a fully temporary production system around the venue's open-truss ceiling. Safety cables, freestanding backdrop supports, and carefully routed power made it possible to add a campaign stage, lighting, sound, signage, and scenic detail without attaching anything permanently to the walls or ceiling. The custom podium's integrated 15-inch powered speaker and wireless microphones also connected with the DJ system for parody endorsement speeches.

The event poster
The invitation made the premise instantly clear.
The poster framed a 35th birthday as a tongue-in-cheek presidential campaign, introduced the dress-up prompt, and guided invited guests through Vintage Sofa Bar to The Rosemary Room. Its navy, gold, and portrait-medallion language established the visual world later carried into the stage and guest details.
Every FP Presents event receives an original poster designed to introduce the concept before the doors open.

Blank room to campaign night
A personal story, made physical.
The sequence begins with the open room, follows the hand-built identity and installation, then moves through finished details, guest participation, and memories designed to leave with the audience.

The room before the campaign arrived
The open stage and surrounding floor established the starting point for the one-night transformation.

The campaign mark becomes a physical object
The circular Spence 35 sign was produced as a dimensional centerpiece for the finished stage.

A podium built for the candidate
The custom rolling podium combined a branded front panel, integrated powered speaker, and wireless microphones for parody endorsement speeches.

A place to leave the candidate a note
A writing station invited guests to contribute personal messages to the birthday celebration.

The complete room, ready before doors
Freestanding draping, lighting, the central stage, costume displays, photo station, and guest activities were arranged without permanent attachment to the venue.

A costume story presented like an exhibit
One of Spencer Foster's handmade costumes became a displayed artifact, complete with an interpretive label and theatrical lighting.

The theme carries across the venue
A pop-culture flag and custom cocktail menu extended the campaign-night tone beyond the main stage.

A campaign favor guests could wear
Branded buttons turned the Spence 35 identity into a small, participatory takeaway.

A direct path from photo to phone
A dedicated station paired themed props with simple instructions for accessing and sharing photo-booth images.

Guests step into the campaign portrait
The completed stage became a photo setting where guests could gather around the candidate and custom podium.
